Restaurant Shiraz - Für Genießer

I loved everything about this place. The service, the food, and the wine is a must to pair. Unfortunately I was upset to see the table next to us had a wet dog with a couple in which was somehow allowed in a nice restaurant where I spent around 500$ on 2 people. The worst part is this couple would go outside to smoke after every course and coming back in ruined my experience a little with the smell of cigarettes and dog. Even after a no animals sign posted on the entrance. Otherwise would be 5 stars. This would be considered illegal in America due to restaurant health laws. Also, was surprised to see the man in a messy looking T shirt with graphics on it. Usually this class of a restaurant wouldn't allow this dress code. But, it was the best food and service I've ever had and will be going back given the chance. The waiter was nice enough to take his time in presenting exactly whats being served along with a lovely description along with a little history and knowledge of every wine being paired. Get the wine, they did an excellent job choosing the pairings and it makes the dinner just burst with more flavor. Also, the waiter explained everything in English and accommodated me very well.

Visit to the Shiraz restaurant in Wuppertal - a culinary experience It was with great anticipation that we, a group of eight people, began our visit to the Shiraz restaurant in Wuppertal, and what we experienced exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcome to the last bite, our evening was characterized by outstanding hospitality and culinary excellence. The greeting from the kitchen took us on an exquisite taste journey with a triad of cervice, a still slightly warm Serrano praline and a super creamy pumpkin tartlet, each of which was a little masterpiece in itself. Although the cerviche was slightly behind the other two in terms of excitement, the following Christmas greeting with duck leg, red cabbage, celery and sliced chestnut once again set high standards. Another highlight was the fish course with perfectly cooked turbot in a strongly spiced Tom Kah Gai broth, which completely met my personal expectations. The course with salmon, caviar and wasabi pearls conveyed authentic sushi vibes, while the Iberico cheeks on an Asian stock were delicious, but a little less tender than hoped. The main course with saddle of venison was another highlight, as the meat was extremely tender and literally melted in your mouth. The dessert courses, led by a dreamy combination of tangerine and coffee, rounded off the culinary experience, although the petit fours with tonka bean cream and baked apple ice cream were a little less spectacular compared to the previous courses. The Pina Colada, however, was a coconut and rum dream and was a worthy ending. We were particularly impressed by the Silvaner masterpiece from Meier Schmidt and the Turkish Cabernet Franc from Nodus from Pamukkale, always with the right wine accompaniment. We would like to thank the Shiraz restaurant for an unforgettable evening and look forward to our next visit, which will surely come.
